Welcome to July CSFF Blog Tour for Donita Paulβs DragonLight, book 5 (and final) of the DragonKeeper Chronicles.
I’m sorry I’m late posting, but I’m coming off of a long week of tent camping with three boys and their dad. Need I say more? (Just so you won’t get confused, the boys are mine and so is the dad)
I remember the first time I saw Donita’s book, Dragonspell, on the local Christian bookstore shelves. It gave me chills. The store owner was standing there as a regional publisher sales rep showed it to me. I already had the book in my possession and the store owner was just getting it in his store! It was great fun taunting him.
At the time, the Christian fantasy and science fiction writers in general were few and huddling nervous in a far corner of the CBA. Now look how we’ve grown. We have authors like Donita K. Paul to thank for that. The success of her DragonKeeper Chronicles is one reason new authors have opportunity in the Christian market. For a brief time, I participated in one of Donita’s fantasy critique groups. I learned so much because her writing is fantastic. Couple great writing and story with an awesome book cover and you have the DragonKeeper Chronicles. It’s tough to say which cover I like the best.
I’d love to hear from you about which cover you love and why. If you go here
you can compare book covers.
