On Saturday I participated in the East Texas Book Fest –a book signing event organized by the SALT (Smith County Public Libraries) and UT Tyler Muntz Library. Over fifty other authors participated as well. My friend, Lena Nelson Dooley, was there to sign books, too. It was great fun seeing her again after this previous weekend at the ACFW Conference in Indianapolis.
My daughter Rachel sat with me at my table to help. A couple of the participants invited Rachel to orga
nize and decorate their tables as well, after admiring what she did with mine.
I believe it was a good event and a few local librarians purchased my books to be included in their school libraries.
